The Festival International de Louisiane is a grand music celebration that takes place during the last week of April and beginning of May. The community event is organized by 1,500 volunteers from throughout the region, and is designed to celebrate the diversity and culture of the Acadiana region. The five-day festival is held in historic downtown Lafayette, and features six music stages, food court areas, arts and crafts boutiques, art galleries, street music and cultural workshops.
